Congratulations to Dorian who successfully defended his PhD thesis in May 2024 and graduated last week.

His PhD explored how two preconditions for goal-directed behaviour might arise from neural activity: the capacity to integrate information about a stimulus to inform action-selection, and the capacity to resolve conflict in the presence of competing alternatives. His work used a mixture of behavioural measures, computational models, magneto- and electroencephalography (M/EEG), functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), and univariate and multivariate analysis techniques.

A huge amount of work - well done!
